He talks about how there is no swearing online. No nasty personal attacks. It's a liberating social medium.

I actually remember those days. I first got online around 1994 (about the same time as this video). I remember online communities being much more wholesome than they are today. Such fond memories.

I hate that I am so jaded about online personalities now. At least I am aware of my corruption and I try hard not to take it out on others. It's very easy to cast judgment on others without looking at your own motivations.

That mentality still exists today even though that bubble burst 10 years ago. I talk to a lot of squatters who think they are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. ><
