omg, I have to see this happen. lol.
It is nasty.
Thinking of getting this game for WoW off time. How difficult is it and how long does it take generally to learn the controls? I never played the first one so I am clueless as to how the controls are.
Depends on how fast you pick up first person shooter games.
I had an awesome time tonight on a server I play on with other goons. There was this blackhawk chopper full of guys capping flags so I planted a load of c4 all around the flag and waited until they flew in to grab it. So then I detonated all the c4 and the sky cried bits of chinese people and helicopter.
I got two ribbons and an explosives award out of it too ^_^
Sounds pretty cool, ill give it a try when I can.
The game is a lot more fun when played as part of a squad so you have to find a good server without too many retarded pubbies.
Getting back to the topic, I've just hit corporal rank on bf2. They did a nice job involving the ranking scheme, it draws people in to level and unlock the advanced weapons (hmmm, weird, like diablo 2). I did some research into what other levels, ribbons, awards there are and I found that some of the level requirements are pretty ridiculous. For Seargent Major of the Corps, the highest rank possible on bf2, one must attain 2,500,500 points. To give you something relative to that number, I've been playing since the game came out, maybe an a couple hours here and there, and I've just now reached corporal, which comes in at the 4th from the lowest rank, being private, pfc, lance corp, then corporal. The requirement for lance corporal is 10,000. So let see, 10,000 every month, 2.5 million, hmm, lets say a round 20 years at the rate I'm going. lol
Sounds like the PvP Honor System in WoW.
Anyone still play this? I got the special forces epxansion and have been playing it recently.
Euroforce just came out and is a good 10$ addition to the original bf2.
I don't know. I have both EF and SF and I don't think either are all that hot. I'm still all about vanilla.
