the battery seems to be soldered to the board. super idea
Well I have one. Its the best smart phone I've tried so far, way easier to use than the Microsoft OS Smartphone and the Treo, oh lord, don't get me started on the Treo. Battery life has been pretty good so far. The internet has been easy to use, as has the wireless network integration which just lets me pick from a transparent pop up when there are wireless networks in range when the ones I've told it to use aren't around.
Frivolous and stupid.
impulse buyers crying foul after apple decreases the iphone price by $200. lame
well yeah, that's basically the same link
Oh shucks, I didn't even look at it. I just assumed it was the pre-pressrelease bitchin' that was around for most of yesterday.
don't really see what their beef is about. Like he said, technology changes so fast and is constantly being outpaced by cheaper, better, faster...
You always pay extremely high, top dollar, for brand spanking new.
Exactly. The price of phones drops about every six months. Anyone who bought a RAZR for $400 knows what it's like when next week they're advertising them for $250 after mail-in rebate. I see no problem here. Same thing with computers.
The first two computers (Macs) I bought both dropped in price by half the week after I bought them, because I was out of the loop and didn't know knew chips were going to be available . You just have to live with it if you want to be the first to get something.
I'm available to upgrade my phone in December. It's looking more and more like an iPhone is going to be affordable.
Does anyone have any info for the next iPhone? My friend who worked at a Cingular/AT&T store said 6 months from the release of the iPhone, but I don't know if she actually knew what she was talking about.
